Role: Developer (17 July 06 – 28 Feb 07, 4 months initially, extended twice)

  • Hired to fix defects and build enhancements to in-house n-tier web application using C# 2.0 and DHTML.
  • Development in ‘continuous build’ environment using Cruise Control, NANT and Tortoise SVN.
  • Produced a small C# web application to easily view XML logs produced by the application above, using XSLT and DHTML.

Role : Programmer/Analyst (14 Nov 04 – 14 July 06, 3 months initially, multiple extensions)

  • Worked on an FTP utility in application in VB.NET to exchange files with 3rd party FTP site.
  • Built TSQL scripts for a new national Records Management System project (RMS), importing data from 8 different systems into a new unified database which itself had to be scripted and deployed to a new SQL Server 2000 server.
  • Built and enhanced applications to interface with existing Document Management and Knowledge Management systems using ASP, DHTML, JavaScript, XML, XSLT and SQL Server 2000.
  • Used Hummingbird DocsFusion, CyberDocs and Tikit Knowledge Portal and developed extensions and applications using the APIs provided by these systems.
